Passport & Visa Requirements for This Itinerary

Important: You must have a valid U.S. passport to travel on this voyage.Passport must be valid for 6 months beyond your planned trip dates and have at least five (5) blank "Visa" pages. For the most up-to-date visa information, all guests including non-US citizens and green card holders should seek advice from their respective embassies, consulates, or Viking recommended visa and passport service, GenVisa, to determine which documents are needed before departure.

Visas are required for: Australia (ETA, Electronic Travel Authority), New Zealand NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority); India (both M/E label and E-Visa will be valid for this itinerary) and Sri Lanka (ETA). Visa is required for: India (M/E label and E-Visa for seaport arrival valid for this cruise itinerary). As of December 6, 2022, India e-Visas have been made available for citizens of the United States and Australia. All other nationalities need to check the India website: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html

Visa required for Vietnam: If first port of entry is Ho Chi Minh City or Chan May, guests may apply to obtain an E-Visa. If first port of entry is any other Vietnam port, guest MUST apply for a label visa.

U.S. citizens do not need a visa for a tourist stay less than 90 days to enter the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Monaco, Italy, Greece, Israel, Singapore, and French Polynesia. Visa is not required to enter Thailand and Indonesia with a stay for less than 30 days.

Arrangements for Jordan, Egypt, Myanmar, Turkey and Oman visas will be made by Viking Cruises onboard the cruise ship. **Non-US passport holders may need a Thailand visa before departure, please contact the appropriate consulate and/or GenVisa for additional information and requirements.
