2020We loved the trip
The Italian Sojourn is perfect for anyone wanting to see the best of Italy! While on board Viking Ocean, the ship is the best. Not crowded at all only about 900 guests, and the food is excellent. The excursions are well organized and you are busy every day seeing the sights early in the morning. We loved this trip so much that we booked another on board. If you love Italy you will love this trip.

I want to mention the general manager of the all the restaurants on this ship... When he found out that my daughter and I could not get a reservation to Manfredi’s, he went out of his way to make sure that we got to eat one night at this restaurant. For this, my daughter and I are thankful. This is what customer service is all about. All the staff were tremendous. We have booked another cruise for 2020. Viking, you all are the best. Keep up the excellent service.

2018Beautiful ship
We did the Italian Sojourn and it was fabulous! The pre-extension in Florence/Tuscany was wonderful and post-extension in Venice was great. The food, both on and off the ship, was great and staff could not have been nicer! I cannot wait until our Alaska cruise next summer... Beautiful ship and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a fantastic cruise! We made many new friends on our pre-extension in Florence, which carried over to the ship.

We were on the Italian Sojourn—wonderful experience. We enjoyed the excellence and professionalism of all the staff on board. The educational benefits that Viking offers are outstanding and the entertainment is excellent. Italy was a trip we will never forget, and Viking helped make it that way. This was our first Viking cruise. We loved it…You should make reservations for the specialty restaurants. They are exceptional… The included tours give a great overview of the town. Šibenik was more interesting than expected. We found exceptional seafood... The entire day in Venice was wonderful. We walked from the ship and made it to the Rialto Bridge… Wandering Venice is a must to discover its secrets. When you have the night in port you can stay out until dawn. The coordination of transfers was exceptional. We are taking another Mediterranean cruise with Viking next year.
