Passport & Visa Requirements for This Itinerary

Important: You must have a valid U.S. passport to travel on this voyage. Passport must be valid for 6 months beyond your planned trip dates. For the most up-to-date visa information, all guests including non-US citizens and green card holders should seek advice from their respective embassy, consulate or Travel Agent to determine which documents are needed prior to departure.

Visa is required for: Australia (ETA, Electronic Travel Authorization), Vietnam (label visa only is accepted, E-Visa is not valid for this cruise itinerary), Vietnam (label visa only is accepted, E-Visa is not valid for this cruise itinerary), Cambodia (label visa only, E-Visa is not valid for this cruise itinerary). U.S. citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays less than 90 days to enter Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong* with stay less than 30 days, visa is not required to enter Thailand**and Indonesia; no visa required for tourist stays of 180 days or less.

*Canadian residents - starting January 1, 2019, all Chinese visa applicants are required to log on to the official website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center, to fill in and print out an electronic application form, and to make an appointment online before submitting application documents to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center.

Note: Viking is not responsible for obtaining visas nor for advising guests of passport, visa or other immigration requirements, so be sure to verify what is needed for your travels. You may be denied boarding or entry to some counties if you have not obtained the correct visas or documents prior to departure. Viking cannot provide any refunds for unused portions of your cruise/hotel stay or cost to change travel plans should you have missing or incomplete documents.
